PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will sit in a Plenary Public meeting on March 27, 2019.

The Plenary Public meeting which was originally scheduled for Monday, March 25, 2019, but was not continued due to lack of quorum has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 27, 2019, at 11.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Minister of Justice will be present.

The agenda points are:

  1. Examination of credentials and admission of deputy Member of Parliament for Member of Parliament T.E. Heyliger in accordance with article 50, paragraph 3, Constitution (IS/755/2018-2019 dated March 20, 2019)

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The House of Parliament will sit in a Central Committee meeting on March 22, 2019.

The Central Committee meeting which was adjourned on Thursday March 21, 2019 will be reconvened on Friday, at 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda point is:

  1. Ontwerp van Landsverordening tot vaststelling van de Begroting van het land Sint Maarten voor het dienstjaar 2019 (Landsverordening begroting 2019) (Zittingsjaar 2018-2019-126) (IS/666/2018-2019 d.d. 4 maart 2019)

PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Committee of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports Affairs of Parliament will meet in a session on Thursday, March 21, 2019.

The Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda points are:

  1. Incoming documents
  2. Planning tour of public schools (IS/383/2018-2019 dated November 22, 2018 and IS/673/2018-2019 dated March 6, 2019)

Members of the public are invited to the House of Parliament to attend parliamentary deliberations.
