PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Permanent Committee of Kingdom Affairs and Inter-Parliamentary Relations (CKAIR), will meet on March 19, 2019.

The CKAIR Committee meeting is scheduled for 10.00 hrs. on Tuesday in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg.

The agenda points are:

  1. Incoming documents.
  2. Wijziging van de Paspoortwet in verband met de invoering van elektronische identificatie met een publiek identificatiemiddel en het uitbreiden van het basisregister reisdocumenten (IS/206/2018-2019 d.d. 16 oktober 2018)

 The Urgent public meeting is scheduled for 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Minister of Tourism, Economic Affairs, Transport & Telecommunication will be present for this meeting.

  1. Update on status of the Airport (PIJA) and the Sint Maarten Port
  2. Update on the establishment of the Calibrations department (IS/277/2018-2019 dated November 1, 2018)
