PHILIPSBURG, Sint Maarten – The Committee of Education, Culture, Youth, and Sports Affairs (CECYSA), will meet on, December 5, 2019.
The Committee meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 10.00 hrs. in the General Assembly Chamber of the House at Wilhelminastraat #1 in Philipsburg. The Board of FAVE will be present for this meeting.
The agenda points are:
- The financial situation of the FAVE School Board for the 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 school years
- The present situation of the School Teachers and the FAVE School Board with regards to the reported dismissals
- Payments of salaries and vacation allowance to the School Teachers and its effect on the financial situation
- The reported plans to increase the school fee/ contribution for the 2019-2020 school year
