Biography
Omar E.C. Ottley is a Member of Parliament and former Minister of Public Health, Social Development, and Labor (VSA) of St. Maarten. Appointed in 2020, he guided the country’s COVID-19 health response and introduced several labor-market initiatives aimed at protecting workers and stimulating economic recovery. With a professional background in the medical field and social services, Ottley has been a consistent advocate for public health readiness, fair labor practices, and accessible social programs.
