On Thursday, May 15, 2025, urgent Public meeting no. 15 of Parliament reconvened with the Minister of Finance, Ms. Marinka Gumbs, for an update on the technical issues delaying the ratification and publication of the 2025 National Budget.
The Minister returned to Parliament to provide responses to questions posed by the Members of Parliament in the first round. Members of Parliament were then given the opportunity to pose additional questions to the Minister, in accordance with the speakers list. After the second round of questions from the Members of Parliament, the meeting was adjourned. The Minister will return to Parliament at a later date, to provide the answers posed in the second round.
